LOWDOWN Winter 2015 page 30

' WELCOME KAPINDRA - AKA 'KAP’. Chris & Jayne Cooper.

When we found out about poor Krishna's tumour, we started our search for another companion for Bhupesh, as he hated to be alone and needed another hound at his side.

We spent months searching, but to no avail.

It was Krishna who found us our new boy. It was like a sign.

On the day we said our sad goodbyes to our lovely big eyed Krishna

we found a Basset on the welfare website, that had just been posted that day.

His name was Barney and he was being looked after by the same people who looked after Bhupesh, in Hull.

What a coincidence that his dog had a connection to all of 'our boys'.

We drove to Hull to meet him.

We had already decided on his new name Kapindra Karma aka Kap. We instantly fell in love with him,and so did Bhupesh.

At 16 months old he is very playful and inquisitive and loves playing with Bhupesh. He has fitted in really quickly and we feel very lucky to have found such a lovely hound.

Thank you Krish.
