' GOODBYE, DEAR KRISHNA - AKA 'STINKBOMB’. Chris & Jayne Cooper.

You were given to us back in January 2010, aged 4, to join us and Barney. You fitted in straight away, allowing Barney to put toys into your mouth, so he could drag you around the room, as you had a lazy side and couldn't be bothered to stand if you could lie down.

You had an aura of naughtiness around you, but we soon learn't what you already knew, that your good looks, big brown eyes and cheeky swagger, could always get you out of trouble.

If you caught the scent of a deer or hare, we would wait patiently till you returned, expecting treats for seeing them off, which we obligingly did.

You decided that if you required a bath each week, due to your skin condition, then you would make it worthwhile by rolling in anything smelly first.

Stinkbomb!

You coped with losing Barney and accepted Bhupesh instantly and became close to him, although happily he didn't pick up your quirky ways.

You loved the van, treats, running down hills, your bed, sleeping and cuddles.

How devastating that you were diagnosed with a tumour aged nine years and just six months later you decided for us when the time was right for us to say our sad goodbyes.

We will never forget you our little 'yum yum' and know that you and Barney are together watching over us.
