HOME TO ALL THE ‘ODDS & SODS’ IT’S OFFALLY GOOD!
While spending a few hours walking along West Wittering seafront during a caravan trip to Chichester Harbour we noticed this plaque on a bench facing out towards the Channel.

I’ve never before seen this method of paying tribute to departed ‘FAITHFUL BASSET HOUND FRIENDS’ - an unusual and rather touching gesture

I thought you might be amused to see the length that this young chap has gone to in celebration of his favourite breed. At least having this kind of hair topiary has the advantage of being only temporary - unlike a tattoo.

I guess he’s a cut above the rest of us.
A case of hair today, gone tomorrow!

I’m indebted to Russell Owen for spotting this sign for a nightclub on his travels - I think it was in Glasgow. It appears closed for business - as is this Lowdown.

Time, everyone, off you go - you’ve all got homes to go to!
