2: South East BRANCH FUN DAY 2011

In sharp contrast to Bickenhill, our Branch Fun Day took place on a really hot, sunny afternoon. Turnout was a little disappointing - perhaps some were put off attending because it was just too hot. Those who did come threw themselves into the games and really seemed to enjoy themselves. Chris and Sue were in charge of the various races, including the ever popular dressing-up race, the slalom, and the always hilarious, sausage race.

A wonderful buffet and refreshments were enjoyed by everyone. Brian, though experiencing some technical problems with the p.a. system, introduced guest judge, Pat Townend (Great Danes). She was ably assisted in her duties by steward, Jean. Her Best in Match was the very sweet, Bessie Williams.
