BASSET HOUND OWNERS CLUB CHRISTMAS LUNCH, 4th December 2016

I was disappointed that personal commitments prevented me from attending the lunch - an event which I look forward to and regard as the perfect start to the Christmas season.

Frankie drove Jean Miller and our President, Michael Errey, to the lunch and she reported afterwards what a wonderful atmosphere there had been at the event.

The pub had provided quite an ambitious menu and the quality of the food was considered to be excellent - the best ever.

As a Club we like to support The White Horse as it lets us use the restaurant without charge for our Committee meetings throughout the year and, although its small kitchen has struggled to cater in the past, now seems well able to host this Christmas lunch.

Brian amused those present with a short review of the Club’s year and after the three courses everyone had a chance to mingle and chat over coffee and mince pies. I was sorry to have missed it.
