THE BIONIC BASSET HOUND

I am grateful to the several members who brought this article to my attention, which appeared in the Daily Mail in March this year.

It is a moving account of the close friendship between Heather Thomson and her Basset Hound, Bumblebee. What makes this unusual is that Heather and the hound suffer from rather unusual disabilities which seems to have created a very special empathy between them.
