THE JUDGE’S VERDICT by Frankie Roberts
This competition was a
difficult one to judge - seeing all those appealing eyes willing me to
choose them. Some of the entries shown above were submitted by committee
members - for which the editor is grateful - however, these were
not in consideration for the winning prize.
My choice for this top
honour is the super action shot of Bassets clambering up a bank which was
taken on a branch walk by Ian White (see
back cover) - a very dynamic and well shot image!
Well done Ian, you
should get your prize very shortly - it is a small, lino-cut print of a
Basset in a limited edition and hand signed by the artist, Ian Mason.
