From the Chair - Talented Tony
✍ Brian Malin

Many members will have already met the genial giant
that is Tony Roberts who, with only a little persuasion (from Frankie),
has bravely agreed to produce this issue of our newsletter.
He has taken some pressure off Rosemary, enabling her to enjoy a more
relaxed time as secretary with all that involves - being also our
representative on the committee of our parent club.
Without Rosemary’s editorial and journalistic skills we would not have had
those interesting newsletters, but, I know she is grateful to have had the
pressure taken off her and is more than happy to continue to write
articles for us. I personally love the Ozzie adventures.
Hopefully, Tony will have enjoyed producing this newsletter and we may,
perhaps, twist his arm to continue. As you know, he is a professional Fine
Artist with illustration and publishing experience, so I am confident that
you will enjoy the changes. He is hugely enthusiastic about his task and
about Bassets. However, he cannot utilise his talents if we fail to
support him by sending in articles, stories and any snippets you think
might be of interest to members. It’s up to you!
(Ed. Brian, the arm-twisting is complete - I will be around as editor for some time!)
